Wide variety of cockpits

The interchangeable cockpit allows training centers scaling their business by adding one or more aircraft cockpits to their offering without investing directly in another simulator bay. Several aircraft types are currently available as FFS.

In addition, a variety of different helicopters can be trained in one mothership. Exemplary cockpits are H125, H135, H145 or the AW 169.

Unique 3rd Crew Member Station

  • 3rd Crew Member Station is located in the aft-cabin behind the cockpit inside the dome

  • Unique Solution: hoist operator look out of the helicopter simulator by means of virtual augmented reality

  • Reiser mixed reality device enables Medical Crew Member to perform mission duties, including observing hand signals from the Rescue Man attached to the rope

  • Features:

    • Instructor Operating Station and two tablet computers in the dome for intuitive control of simulated Rescue Man’s actions via touch screen
    • Night vision mode simulates enhanced view through Night Vision Goggles (NVG) for improved training during night missions
    • Torch equipped with a tracker system projects a simulated light beam to illuminate landing and accident sites

  • Realistic Training: Simulated light beam visible for MCM, Pilot, and Co-Pilot, enhancing realism during night missions

  • Training Focus: Next-generation training for various maneuvers including Rescue Man/Underslung Maneuvers, Search and Rescue Missions, and confined area Take-Off and Landing Maneuvers, with immersive benefits for crew coordination
